GEAC Services Facilities IDIQ, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority: CST served as a subconsultant on this contract to provide professional engineering services for a wide variety of new design and construction related tasks, and maintenance, repair and renovation tasks. The firm’s work efforts included assisting in performing inspections for approximately 23 WMATA facilities, including steel or concrete box girders which required confined space training to complete the hands-on inspections. Structures ranged from 12 to 150 spans and consisted of a variety of superstructure and substructure configurations. CST also supported WMATA’s Maintenance of Way Engineering Support Division by helping to identify NBE elements and develop total quantities for 64 Bridges.
